1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to halomusicband.com (“Website”), operated by Halo Music Band (“Halo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

2. Services

Halo provides live music performance services for events including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more. All bookings are subject to availability and our booking policies outlined below.

3. Booking Policies

• Deposit: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
• Payment Schedule: The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before the event. Late payments incur a 5% fee per week overdue.
• Full Payment Discount: Pay in full upfront for a 5% discount on the total fee.
• Cancellation:
  • Cancellations 90+ days before the event forfeit the deposit only.
  • Cancellations less than 90 days require full payment, as we may decline other bookings for your date.
• Travel: For events beyond 50 miles of Salt Lake City, UT, travel and accommodation costs may apply (quoted per booking).
• Force Majeure: Halo is not liable for cancellations due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, illness). We’ll work to reschedule or refund payments beyond the deposit, if possible.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide a suitable performance space, power supply, and access to the venue.
• Obtain necessary permits or licenses for the event.
• Notify us of song requests (max 3) at least 30 days in advance.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website (e.g., text, images, logos) is owned by Halo or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission, except for personal use related to booking inquiries.

6. Limitation of Liability

Halo is not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits) arising from our services or Website use. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting, and continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, USA. Disputes will be resolved in Salt Lake County courts.
